I thought I was being the best lab mommy in the world when I bought 30 lbs of nice ground beef for the dogs and boiled it up and mixed kibble and rice with the beef. They loved it, just loved it. Well that was until Fraiser came down with a raging ear infection..I could've kicked myself. I took all beef out of his diet right away and had him on meds and he's making a full recovery..one is totally cleared up and the other one is on it's way.

I dont' know for sure if it was the beef but that's the only thing that's changed in his diet in months. So...we are going beef free. They are on Diamond Lamb and rice and the livestock auction at the county fair is this weekend..we will be getting about 4 lambs and having them processed. I know the lady I am buying them from..she is a totally organic farmer so I feel good about her lambs. We got goats from her last year...oh my goodness they were so tender and yummy!
