Anyone heard or this or use it?

A local butcher shop is giving away a free pound of this food and it looks pretty interesting. Ingredients are simple and the food is fresh. I kind of like the idea.

It looks OK from the ingredients, but for some reason it looks "too good to be true". I wonder if the ingredient list looks different ON the package?

I tried it, the local Shoprite carries it. The dogs seemed to like it but then again they like most everything;) It looked like good food, I think it was $10 for the large slicing chicken and rice.

Every single product has chicken in it so I won't be trying it on my Hamish who has a sensitivity to chicken. Wonder why they put chicken in everything, even the beef formulas?

An emulsifier/gelatin extracted from seaweed. It's not a bad thing. :)
ETA: I personally prefer to find out, and research what something is before I dismiss it out of hand.

I've seen it at my local Shaw's supermarket. It seems very expensive to feed exclusively, but for mixing a small amount in w/ dry kibble, it could be a good alternative to canned. If it's firm enough, it could also be cut into small pieces to use as training treats. I did this with the Natural Balance rolls -- I don't recall which flavor it was, but it smelled delicious even to me! ;)
