View Full Version : GHOST WHISPERER
BaxtersMama 10-17-2008, 08:57 PM I can't wait to crawl into bed tonight and watch tonights episode. I always like to watch in the dark and get spooked.
I'm sad that Jay Mohr has left the show to get his own. I loved his character on the show. I'm selfishly hoping his new comedy bombs so he comes back. He's so in love with Melinda too.
Jamie Kennedy?? Are you kidding me?? I keep waiting, thinking we're all getting Punk'd or something. It's hard watching him in this show, a drama no less, after watching him on The Jamie Kennedy Experiment. He was great on that, not sure if I find him believable here.
Think she'll ever get pregnant?
Puck'sMom 10-18-2008, 06:45 PM I LOVE GW. I never like missing it, but I missed it this week. What happened?
I also am selfishly hoping his show fails because he was much better on GW, though his show is good too!
Jamie Kennedy--not so much.
I think she'll get pregnant because her "gift" has to continue, but I wonder whether she and her husband will stay together....he's so....IDK--he aggravates me most of the time, but he has toned it down this season so far.
BaxtersMama 10-18-2008, 07:53 PM She goes into an online game to protect a teenager from a predator.
Can't you watch episodes online?
I heard a rumor, that her dh might die?
monte'smom 10-19-2008, 06:08 AM I usually hate anything that has to do with the supernatural, but I LOVE this show. I never heard of Jamie Kennedy (I had to Google him before I posted), and still don't know of him, so I guess that for people like me, it might work. Jay Mohr will be missed...
Phoebesmom 10-19-2008, 02:58 PM Did they ever address the "6 people 5 shadow" line at the end of last season? I hooked into that and was so looking forward to the resolution. I thought it would have been the professor since he was getting his own show.

That could be one reason however I have seen season previews that elude something might happen to a main character, I think Melinda's husband. Not sure how I feel about that.
I agree I liked Jay Mohr's character. I think they did leave the door open for his return if his show doesn't work.
I enjoy this show, I like it better when it isn't "too" dark and creepy.
Sarah Beth 10-20-2008, 12:29 PM I love Ghost Whisperer but I always forget it's on. I watched it Friday after missing quite a few episodes - mainly caught one or two reruns over the summer, and barely watched it last year (I just forget about it!). I was  over the new characters when I watched on Friday. Who is her new sidekick, was that Jamie Kennedy?? He's interesting, I guess. The episode on Friday was not that great though, I thought. It's always been such a unique show, but this one was just a little strange for me.
BaxtersMama 10-20-2008, 01:13 PM Yes, Jamie Kennedy is a Psych Professor or perhaps he's just a Psych at the University where Jay Mohr worked. He was introduced when he was involved in an explosion apparently caused by a patient who died in the explosion. He died in the explosion (had a near death experience). Melinda saw his body leaving his body.
Anyway, his NDE caused him to be able to hear spirits, but not to see them. Melinda has become his mentor and now they kind of work together in the land of the dead.
monte'smom 10-20-2008, 07:14 PM But isn't the show about finding that prize at the end? You all know the end, that build up to where you keep telling yourself "this one is not sad, I'm okay", and low and behold WHAM! you didn't know, didn't see it coming, although you suspected... yep, the tears, only few minutes worth, but enough to say that Ghost Whispers did their job again.
