:D i have a 2 y/o male yellow lab named oliver. I wonder if anyone else has this problem-- everytime i leave he gits into everything! i dont crate him anymore because im gone for 8 1/2 hours at a time-- he can open the fridge and bathroom doors - all the tupperware is chewed -- and it doenst seem like its stopping- and he canstantly needs something in his mouth! - pillows shoes blankets everything!

Sounds like your dog is BORED!!!!!!!!!!! Are you taking him for walks and playing games with him?

Yep. Sounds bored, not enough mental stimulation or physical exercise.

Yup. Sounds totally normal. When they are bored they will instinctivly find something that will amuse them. Since they love chewing and ripping things apart, that is what they will do! ;)
