View Full Version : Glucosamine to a 8 week old puppy? Sillypuppy 07-03-2003, 06:28 AM I know its important to supplement my lab's diet with Glucosamine. Im just not sure when i can start. and does anyone know if Gyco -flex really is that much better? thanks! brawnwyn 07-03-2003, 07:09 AM We started supplementing at 8 weeks. Our vet recommended it and we've just always added it to their daily regimen. I know there's another thread on this subject on the boards that you may enjoy reading. Try a search to find it. As far as the GycoFlex (sp?) goes, I've never tried it but there are a couple of users on the site who feel that it is superior. Again, I think you can find that info on the other thread. Hope this helps! It's also easier to give, in my case. I just put their dose on a plate and they lick it right up. :) Sillypuppy 07-22-2003, 03:15 AM does anyone else have thoughts on whether or not it is OK to give a pup supplements? i was also considering giving him ester C. |
