Toby'sMom

:D :thumb4: Hi Everyone,
I have not been on this board in a long time, (used to post as LeahandToby'sMom) my time has been very tight and have not had much fun time on the computer anymore. But with all these food recalls I have been researching a bit and was reading some of the posts here and I thought of everyone here who had been so helpful with trying to solve my Toby's food issues about a year ago or so. Anyway, after the food roller coaster for a long time, I had finally put Toby on IVD Rabbit and Potato last year. It stopped all of his staph, ear infections, hot spots and runny poos. However, Leah and Toby get into each others foods constantly, no matter what I do to prevent it and she ended up with recurrent yeasty ear infections, which I narrowed down to the potatoes. Anyway, back on the roller coaster, I finally found Canine Caviar. Lamb with Millet and Rice. No gluten, dairy, soy, corn and beef -- all of which Toby has reacted to in the past. I switched again and held my breath. Both dogs (and all three cats - who have health issues of their own) are all on the foods and NO PROBLEMS with Toby. And Leah is doing great on it too. Just wanted to recommend it to anyone who is having a hard time finding a new, safe food. Also, while not cheap, it was a lot less money than the IVD -- big bonus.
Hope everyone and their furry friends are doing well.
