Hi there everyone! My name is Amber and I'm from Charleston, South Carolina. I've had 4 labradors in my life...3 yellows and 1 black. On May 19th, I will be getting my very first chocolate lab puppy! I've decided on Kubrick (hence the name). Other than soon to be him, I have two cats, Moe and Monet. I look forward to talking to all of you!

Hey, we got to bring him home early, today. I'm guessing your chocolate is Roxy. What day was she born? Kubrick was born on April Fools Day...how fun huh? Glad to see there's people from North and South Carolina...let me know when Roxy's home and how it goes!

Hi, I think Roxy is on the lighter side and in the sun it looks like a reddish brown :)... & we are in Winston Salem we go to Charlotte quite often though :) cant wait to see some pics of your little guy!

Welcome to the board Amber! I am Melissa and Montana is my 12 week old yellow lab! We LOVE all labs and will add a chocolate Lab named Cheyenne to our family when Montana is between 9-12 months old. When we are able to move to a little bigger yard we would love a black too. They are just so addicting. lol
This board is a great place! I have learned SOOOOO much! The advice is awesome!

Welcome to the site! We used to live in Goose Creek, SC. My hubby is in the Navy. My name is Laura and I just recently got my first lab. Her name is Kahlua and she is chocolate. She was born on March 21st and we have had her for a week now. I have three little boys (5, 2 1/2, and 11 mths). We all LOVE her to pieces! :)

It's so exciting, because every time I get on here, someone new is getting a puppy or has just gotten one. It must be that season...:) How big is Kahlua now...she is gorgeous from the pictures I've seen. Our vet said that they hit their growth spurt at 8 weeks, and Kubrick is 7 weeks today. Well, let me know how she's doing!

Kahlua is 8 and a 1/2 weeks old now. At her 7 week vet appt, she was 12lbs. She has grown so much in just a week though. :) I need to take more pics-- but my 2yr old broke our digital camera, so I have to wait for my film to return. :) I'l post new pics sonn- I promise!!
