Here we are heading into ANOTHER holiday weekend, and the crunch is on again. So far, we have not been able to find rescue for any of today's Urgent Dogs at the Spalding County Animal Control in Griffin, Georgia (including the sweet, shy Shepherd named Ida and the loving yet timid little black lab named Ingrid, as well as three of the most adorable little black lab puppies you ever saw.) If you can come up with any possibilities for these poor, sweet souls, it would be a mercy indeed.

I was thinking the same thing, Lily! This one is so beautiful! Couldn't find him on the shelter site tho. Maybe I was having a 'blonde' moment.:eek:

We've tried pulling from shelters in GA before w/o any luck with contacts. Does anyone have any contacts that could offer some real solid help?

Here are some contacts for the Spaulding Shelter and Athens Shelter. Some of these people will pull for both shelters. Not sure which ones. You would have to call and ask them.

Lisa...please keep us posted. I can't stop thinking about these darling puppies...they are really tugging at me...:( :( :(

I will say a prayer for them tonight....hoping they are spared.

:( I know.. there are so many. I am trying to figure out the best and most resourceful way to utilize what we have.. not sure if we can help any of these, but we will definitely keep you posted.

They can be adopted by calling ASAP, appl. on website above listed and fax in. You can then arrange to transport pups.

I called the shelter about #2 and #3 (especially #3), and was told that they had been adopted.:)
