Last week I found a puppy when I walked into a local pet shop. The owner saw someone walk in and walk right back out, and five minutes later a puppy came running right for him. The owner of the shore was going to call the animal shelter and I couldn’t see a puppy go to a shelter, so I took him home. Now that we have decided to keep him, I want him to have the best. The store owner gave me Purina One Large Breed Puppy to give him. I look it up at dogfoodanyanzlis.com and it only got one star. I read all about Innova and Canidea, however my boyfriend wants to feed him something you can find in a normal pet store and not a “specialty store” and something not as pricey. I see differently but since he is paying the bills that is the end of that conversation. I was wondering if there is a “better” pet food that you guys can recommend because I am lost with all the choices. I am leaning toward Kirkland’s puppy food since we are in Costco almost every weekend. Is that a good food, I searched and saw many people on the board us it. Thank you in advanced.

This is Rocky, 4-months old (according to the vet)!!

I don't have any advice since we're currently trying a new food with ours (Nature's Recipe Fish & Potato), but just wanted to tell you that Rocky is adorable!

I used Kirkland's Chicken & Rice Puppy food from Costco for my 5 month old all through her puppy months and she is doing great. Leia has a nice shiny coat and according to my vet, is in great shape. In fact, a month ago I tried to gradually move to a premium brands, Performatrin Ultra, but she started to get soft poops and I finally gave up. I am actually trying out the Kirklands Adult Chicken and Rice formula - same thing with less fat and a little less calcium. So far no issues.
