Hi, I just pulled this bl female from our local shelter.
She was abandoned there... no note. The shelter has named her Jasmine and guessed her age to be approx 2-3 yrs old.
Very mild mannered girl.
I am fostering her in SW Michigan.

Aww she is so cute.I am in SW Michigan also.Do you foster for an all breed rescue or a Lab rescue?I am trying to get involved with a Lab rescue in our area,but cannot seem to find one.

I have not been able to get an affiliation with a lab rescue yet either, so I am going solo.
I have a close relationship with 4 of my surrounding shelters/pounds and they will release labs to me at no charge.
I get them COMPLETELY vetted, start them in obedience and then put them up for adoption.
The expenses are entirely mine. I have no one to help obsorb the costs. I have an EXCELLENT vet who gives me a break on fees and will let me run up an account.
I am not smart enough to figure out how to get a non-profit status (501c).

I would LOVE to sit and chat with you sometime.
Where are you at? I am about 30 West of Kalamazoo.
Maybe between the two of us we can get something GOOD going for this wonderful breed??!?!?!?!!
