Hi there,

I recently moved out of Toronto and to the small town of Wasaga Beach in Ontario. Finally out of an apartment into a house, which means the Lab I've always dreamed of is actually coming into my life next Saturday. *pause while I dance around with uncontrollable delight*

Anyway, I left a fairly lucrative job as a photographer with a high-profile charitable organization for an area with no job prospects. I recently started a pet services business (http://www.petpawsitive.ca.tf). Today I bought several bone shaped cookie cutters to make dog biscuits for Loki (my new yellow Lab puppy), since he's been on a raw meat diet at the breeder, which I can't maintain. I figure some beef biscuits might ease the woe of having to eat Nutro Ultra instead of raw ostrich and other fabulously exotic fare. (I can't believe my dog has eaten more interesting meats than me, he's only 13 weeks old!)

Looking at the cookie cutters it occurred to me that I might as well add the sale of homemade, healthy dog biscuits to my business roster. My boyfriend thought it was a great idea, and pointed out that I could bill them as being "Lab tested".

So if you happen to live near me (Toronto/Barrie area of Ontario) and want some free, homemade biscuits to run your own Lab tests with, I'd love to send you some. All I ask in exchange is for a photo of your Lab to put on my website as one of the "independent Labs" that tested the biscuits for palatability and enjoyment.

Naturally I would make the ingredient list known to you before you feed anything to your Lab. I think you'd pretty much have to be immediately local to get the ones with beef in them, I can't imagine they'd fare well in the mail. But I have several recipes which should last through a few days in the post.
