Yup. I am. I am signing up Rider and I for a CPE trial on July 16 & 17 in Grand Rapids, MI. I don't know what we are going to sign up for yet, but I've heard that CPE was a wonderful organization to get your feet wet while you are training before you go to UKC or AKC events.

I am very excited! We are going down with two other ladies from my kennel club.

I am not going to expect a whole lot...except to have fun and learn a lot along the way.

Good luck to you and Rider - no matter what happens, praise Rider for the job he does - and going to it without expecting to win is better - then if you win something it will be more exciting vs expecting to win and not winning.

Let us know the results (good, bad, etc.)

CPE was the competiton we went to last year (our one and only :rolleyes: I have more fun with the training part)
Much fun - very laid back - the games are suited to beginners, and they allowed us to run "for exhibition only" (no points) since Wellie couldn't do teeter yet.

:clap: Yea! Entering your first trial is a BIG step! Congratulations! You'll have to keep us posted on how you do...be sure to take pictures, too!
