That description sounds just lovely, doesn't it?;) Anyway, about a week ago, I noticed a little dried, encrusted piece on one nostril. Yesterday, that nostril appeared inflamed and was running. The mucus looked clear, but the area on her nostril was discolored (sort of pinkish). The weird thing is it's only on one side of her nose. The other side looks perfectly normal, which made me rule out an allergy or a cold. My husband suggested we put Neosporin on it, but I wanted to see if anyone else has experienced this.

I haven't come across it myself and it looks like nobody else has either. Did you figure out what it was?

We haven't figured out what it is, but she's going to the vet tomorrow to be spaded. I'll ask him then.
