Hello again everyone!:)
Okay,
I have taken the two ingredient lists from greatgoldens.com for the diamond and costco lamb and rice formulas. Every single ingredient in the costco/kirkland formula is in the diamond formula except the following. The ingedients that are not found in the costco formula are brewers rice, iron proteinate, zinc proteinate, copper proteinate, manganese proteinate.
As well as these ingredients the greatgoldens.com website states that the diamond formula contains chelated minerals and the costco formula does not.
Can someone please advise me about what these "proteinate" ingredients are that are not located in costcos formula. I would assume that the chelated minerals that are in diamond but not costco are directly related to these proteinate ingredients. are these important to have in my Jackson's food. The reason I ask is that in my area Kirkland Lamb and Rice is about 23.00 canadian and the Diamond Lamb and Rice is 50.00 canadian. Are these ingredients worth paying 27.00 extra per bag for. If they are I don't mind paying for them but don't want to pay for nothing.
So, my two questions are this.
What are the Proteinate ingredients that are missing in the costco formula?
What are chelated minerals?
Any replies are greatly appreciated and thanks for taking the time to help me out.
