Since I have been told that Dash probably has food intolerances to Chicken and has been put on Hills Science Diet - Venison and Potato - can he still chew on a bully stick? The vet said no rawhides but I don't know what to consider a bully stick. TIA

Bully sticks are smoked bull penis. That would be BEEF. If your vet is trying to isolate what your dog is senstitive to, and the food only contains one protein source (Venison), you will not be able to give bully sticks either. Rawhide is from cows, hence BEEF. You'll have to do with nylabones and such.

I would first try and figure out what he is allergic to then start working other things back in his diet. With that said you should probably stick to Nylabones till you get the ok from the Vet.

Don't get the flavored ones. Some have chicken flavor or bacon.
