Does anyone use a food dehydrater to make their own jerky? If so, how do you get your jerky to stay together?! Mine just falls to pieces! I like to make turkey jerky for the dogs because it's cheaper to buy and lower in fat.

What kind of meat are you using? We buy dehydrated chicken breasts for the dogs and they stay together. Are you trying to dry ground turkey?

I buy large turkey legs, boil and debone them and then dehydrate the meat pieces.
