Animal "Protection League"
Here are the contact emails for the leaders of JCAPL, the Johnston
County Animal "Protection" League. This group supports Sue Sternberg
temperament testing, which they brought to the Johnston County
shelter in Smithfield to decide which dogs die. It could be a poodle
or a cocker spaniel, but if it is too "snippy" it is going to the gas
chamber. Dogs and cats are like people, sometimes you're just not
having a good day. I imagine they are stressed out, being in such a
horrible place, sensing death all around them. Or maybe they just
don't like to have a plastic hand forced in their face. Do they
deserve the death penalty for that?
According to the Smithfield Herald's recent article, the JCAPL is
involved in making decisions at the county shelter! This shelter
sells animals to research (also in the news), and kills most animals
in the GAS CHAMBER.

If you can, adopt an animal or two. If you can't, contact the people
above and tell them you disapprove of what is going on.
