This has been cancelled due to lack of drivers :( She may try again for next weekend, or try to fly him if possible. He needs to get out of the damp weather for his health.

Hey all,

First, thanks so much to everyone who offered to help, especially you Trina for volunteering for two legs and an overnight! That was extremely sweet of you! It is definitely off, and I think the easiest way to get him back, with the least stress on him, and all of us, lol, is to fly him. The current owner is more scared of flying then he is, and I think she just doesn't want to fly him because of that, lol!

So, what I am doing is taking donations for the Peykos Flight Foundation, lol. If you or someone you know can even donate a dollar, it is GREATLY appreciated! You can donate by PayPayl - utahlabrescue@hotmail.com . Or you can go to www.utahlabrescue.petfinder.org and on that main page we have a PayPal button to click and donate.

The last few months had been very tough on the rescue financially as we had taken in so many Parvo babies, and even adults that had a bacterial thing that tested positive for Parvo. I even lost one dear Chocolate boy to that. It was so hard both emotionally, and financially, it left the rescue completely empty. So, that is the only reason why I need donations to get Peykos his plane ticket. If I already had the funds, that cute boy would already be back here.

Again, thanks so much to you all for getting the route set up, and for getting volunteers. I learned so much from this, and at least I can volunteer in the future with transports out this way! :)

Thanks so much again!!!!!!!

Hey Barbi - just wanted to tell you that I hope you guys can get Peykos back to Utah soon and with as minimal amount of stress as possible. We're just poor grad students now so I can't contribute, but would if the money was there. Good luck! Keep us posted on how he's doing. I hope that he does find his perfect home - and if not, then he'll have one there with you.
