I've been gone for a while...I was just wondering what this is all about? I seemed to have missed alot in my little absence!

Arrin arranged the whole thing. Basically, each person that signed up was paired with someone else. Each person got a secret pal. Someone that would send at least 1 card a month, and a special birthday present. Some people have already guessed who their secret pal is, and some people still don't know yet. Beyond sending the 1 card and the birthday present, people are free to do what they want to do for their pal. They aren't assigned to each other. Each person has someone they are assigned to. It's been so great seeing everyone get to know other people better, and seeing how much fun everyone is having.

New sign-ups of secret pal will be shortly, that way any new people will be able to join. We are only in the 2nd month of this one, so I'm not going to do anything yet!

So far, I think it's been pretty much a success. A few people haven't recieved anything yet, but I think that was mainly because of a SP getting banned and the new one just starting!

Where will the SP sign up begin again? Where will it be posted that its about to start? Do you have to spend a lot of money on your secret pal? Do you buy gifts for your SP or their fur babies?

The rules are: 1 card a month for the duration of the game, and 1 small package on their birthday. You don't have to spend a lot of money on it. It's really just up to the individual people beyond that to decide what they want to do. You don't have to spend a lot of money at all. You decide what you want to do for your pal. It's not even about the money. It's about getting to know someone else and making friends. Arrin will post when she will be starting the signups. I don't know where she'll post it. I imagine either in this forum or The OT. Again, it's really up to the individual people to decide what they want to get for their pal. People can give things to their pal and/or their dogs. the secret pal sounds like fun....i just joined yesterday, so i don't know if i'd qualify the next time around, but i am very interested (and so is dusty, whether she knows it or not)!!!!!!!:)
