I just swiched O.P. from Eukanuba LB Puppy to California Naturals Chicken and Rice Puppy kibble.
So far so great .....
My initial impetus to switch was .... O.P. just smelled like a wet dog all the time. It was suggested that the Lamb formula food could be causing this ..
My second purpose was to help him achieve a better coat ... O.P. had a lot of dandruff in the back quadrant of his body .... shoulders etc not so much .. rear ... lots ..
My third purpose was also coat related ... his coat was very dull.
and of course ... I think his poops could be better (and probly would be if I could just lay off the biscuits)
4 days later .. O.P. has beautiful wavy brown locks .......... and no offensive odor ...
Hopefully .... this will be the ticket ............ He likes it .. and it doesnt appear that the price will put me in the poor house ....
O.P. is 9 months old this week ... weighing in at about 70lb and has a shoulder eight of about 24"s .... he is still very lean w/ these awful gangly legs ..........
It was hilarious the other day ... we were playing ball and he hit the brakes right at the fence post and completed a two backs legs and a tail in the sky stoppie .... he's such a goof tripping all over himself ......
