I feel kind of stupid asking this question, but I have just bought Zoe a kong and put a little peanutbutter in it and she's really not that interested. When you put bannanas/yogurt frozet etc. in them, do you cut up the bannana into tiny pieces? I put cheese in there at one point and she couldnt get it out. Dumb question I know, but I am not sure what I am doing wrong :(.

Java wasn't very interested at first, either. I would put kibble or treats or whatever inside and then put peanut butter at the outside and she wouldn't touch it. I don't know what it took for her to figure it out, but now she loves it! She'll even chew on it when there's nothing in it because she can smell the pb. I wonder if it was the rubbery smell of it at first...

As for bananas, I would just cram as much as I could into it. I put treats, banana, apple, pb in it... I also will cram it full of whatever and then stick it in the freezer over night.

Cosmo wasn't very interested in his kong when I put peanut butter and treats inside of it. In fact, he took it outside with him one night and left it out there. We tried finding it but couldn't because it was so dark. I found it the next morning and it was filled with ants. After soaking it and washing it in the dishwasher for several cycles (after the ants were taken care of), we were ready to try again. This time, we used the kong stuffing (liver flavored). Cosmo can't get enough of his kong when he has the stuffing in it. I am thinking that when he is older and has a stronger jaw, we will use some of the different recipes but I think it's too hard for him to get out the good stuff.

Try peanut butter and small slices of banana in the kong. My Ruby doo loves it!!!
