There was a Fest in Colorado, then one in Connecticut, then they're planning one in Michigan/Ontario... Where can we have a southeast Lab Fest? Any suggestions for dog parks, lakes or beaches?

We took Java to Carolina Beach, NC yesterday, btw, and she LOVED it! There were several sweet labbies and an 11-year-old Golden that she got to meet and play with a little. I wouldn't let Shawn take her off leash-- until much later, when no one else was around and it was raining! I just didn't want her to get distracted, like I saw some of the other dogs doing... running up to other dogs, not causing trouble, but I didn't want HER to be the one!

I hear ya...when can we all meet????? It's not fair to leave us out too!

You might try to start a new thread in general chat then see how many ppl on the southeast east coat chime in. There are a few in NC, SC, and MD...oh and FL.
