I have been working on a comprehensive list of US Lab rescues by state. Can you please take a look at this list (http://www.angelcove.us/labsrescues.html) and PM or email me with any names of rescues I am missing, including the state they are in and their website URL?

Thanks! :)

I got it! Thanks!

I still feel like I have to be missing a ton of other rescues out there. Anyone else got any that aren't on my list: http://www.angelcove.us/labsrescues.html ((http://www.angelcove.us/labsrescues.html))?

I have never been able to get a call back from these people. Do you work with them?

I see the adopt a lab georgia link does not work. I'm not really sure what her organization web site is, but here is her email:
tracey.byram@henryhavenhouse.org

Okay - I fixed the Georgia link (there was a space at the end of the website address) and added the others. Those without websites, I just added the email address in the link so they can email those individuals.

Thanks again for giving all this great information! If anyone can think of any others, let me know.

Oh! And thanks for the kudos on my website. ;)

Just talked to Tracy who runs Adopt A Lab GA. She said please use the following email for her lab requests:
adoptalabga@yahoo.com
So, ditch the "haven house" email for her.
Thanks, Sandy

Linda, I don't work with them and actually was just assuming they were a good one since their website is really nice and a lot of dogs seem to get adopted off there! I guess I shouldn't assume, huh?? :nono:

That's weird though that they don't call you back---that's one we were definitely looking into if we decide to go the rescue route. Hmmm....

Futurelabowner; don't worry if they don't always call back. If it's anything like our group; I personally get 30-50 emails/day. I can't answer every single one of them. It's usually people that are volunteers with busy lives trying to do the best they can to help save and adopt labs. Also, many rescue groups have you fill out their app's and go through the approval site before anyone actually speaks with you. I would still check them out; you need to see for yourself and if they have a dog you fall in love with; then another lab saved!! :)
