watched tonight's episode...
I so did NOT see Sam's true identity!!!

I knew that dog was something unique, but Sam????
I figured it out when he ran back into the bar after the detective wanted to question him, but I was totally surprised!

I thought it was him since the first episode. Cool!

You did?? You are sharp!! I'm usually good at picking stuff up before it's revealed, but this one totally blew by me. Now I'm curious about Tara. Do you think she's really got some demon or whatever harboring inside her?? The teaser looks like there's a surprise waiting for us there too.

I knew from the first episode that the dog had some meaning, and had a fleeting thought earlier in the season that it might have been Sam. I got it right away when he went into the bar as a human and came out as a dog. I think the last scene the most recent episode was really great, and Im looking forward to how it explains it all to Sookie.
I dont really like how the show is taking on this "fanatsy world" feel. Vampires existing? Okay. Telepathy? Perhaps. Humans morphing into dogs? Ehhh.....

I don't know about Tara. I don't think it is a demon I think she just has lots of issues.

'missed that thread - which was good for me - I liked that I was totally surprised.

I've read and re-read the series so no surprise here. I am having a good time taunting DH with who the killer is though! LOL

I have a guess as to who the killer is but I have not read the books, and I usually guess wrong on these kind of things. What I want to know is why Sookie got so upset when she saw Tara and Sam together, I thought she wasn't interested in him???

DH & I are in the same boat. I have read the books recently and DH hasn't read any of them, so he keeps asking me about Sam, the killer & other things and I keep not saying anything. His guess about Sam was that he was a werewolf.

You guys are good!! So many of you figured the Sam thing out! I am so stuck on lycanthropes to be wolf like creatures (a la Harry Potter, Twilight) that it didn't occur to me that they can be cute fluffy dogs.

I loved the episode - but I'm really mad at Sam and Sookie. I guess you could say that I'm a Bill fan :)

I'm a big Bill fan, too. I think she'll be back with him again - just a hunch.

I'm interested to find out about Jessica and what's up with her. It seems I'm distrustful of everyone on that show lately. :p:

Haha -- I really liked listening to Rene -- he has a very interesting, husky voice...

My BF is guessing that he's a werewolf since he's kind of hairy (at least in the fax pic) and has such a deep voice... I don't know if I agree with him! But I really wouldn't write it off since there is so much 'paranormal' type stuff...

I'm excited for the finale. I can't trust anyone, though - I spent pretty much the whole episode thinking that Amy was somehow the killer? She was a creeper...

I agree, I liked Rene's voice, but he seems to have lost the really thick accent he had in the beginning. I also agree that the whole Sam/Sookie thing has me annoyed. Poor Bill.

How did you like Bill's minion huh? She was SO funny and Bill was trying to be all serious and grim about it and she's running around like a schoolgirl cursing. :lol:

I love Bill's interaction with his new "girl", and yes Rene's voice was just as nice as his eyes, that would be kinda of cool if he is a werewolf...

Not that I really like him, but I felt sorry for Jason Sunday night.

I was mad that Sookie sent Bill away.

I have a hunch on who the killer is.

I like Sam better too. I think he is sweet. As far as the killer- I have no clue.

I never liked Sookie too much but after last nights episode I really don't like her, it's ok if she likes bill but come on have some sympathy for Sam!! I can't wait for the new season.

She doesn't deserve Bill. :D

I'm curious who this Maryanne woman is and what connection she has to Sam. I was curious about all that money he has and remembered that Det. Belfler said he was buying up all the land around town... Curious.

Awh! I didn't think of that. You are right in how they present things. And I am hoping that Lafayette isn't dead, just weakened.

I'm thinking there's going to be some Warewolf things coming. I think the "Hair is like a sunset" guy is a warewolf. There's something that's going to happen with him. he made a statement of "..that's because you don't know me well enough." to Sookie. I think Marianne is Sam's mother and is a shifter. Sam said "It's genetic".

Oh now that would be interesting, maybe that is why she has taken an interest in Tara?

Sam mentioned it's possible to take the shape of humans, but it's much harder.
