Okay, so I weighed in because it is my day. I had a 1.9lb GAIN! :o: I can only blame myself because we ate out almost all week and the party on Saturday was just the icing on the cake. I do plan on going this whole week to the gym to make up for it though I think if I weigh myself tomorrow I won't weigh as much but maybe it is just me being wishful. Either way, I've been back on track since yesterday though I didn't make myself lunch but I will probably have like a subway sandwich or something. How is everyone else doing?

I am sure it is just a temporary increase. Probably all water weight. I am sure since you are so motivated to get back on track now that the 1.9 will be gone before you know it.
I too had a party this weekend but I tried to make up for it by eating well the rest of the time and went to Swing dance class Saturday and then picked up an extra shift on Sunday doing physical work all day so hopefully that will help offset my badness on Friday night.

Morning! Maritza, it's okay, at least you have a plan for the upcoming week! Bad habits do not change overnight, even after a month it's still hard. If you've ever given up a bad habit, just keep that in perspective when it comes to changing habits for weight loss, too. You are trying to change a lot of bad habits, many of them lifelong bad habits (to me, this is harder than when I quit smoking!).

I had a few setbacks this weekend, too. Overall, I am giving myself a B because we went to a mexican brunch yesterday and I had only one plate, and only ate half of what was on it, then ate a small plate of fruit, AND skipped on my favorite mexican dessert.. FLAN!!

We also did a two our trail (a mini-hike) with Kirby and it was great exercise. I can't believe how much going to the gym the past month has helped me. I don't think I would have made it otherwise and my husband kept telling me how hard it was going to be.He was shocked how well I kept up with Kirby, haha.

My goal is 4 days at the gym this week, but I would love to get in 5 days!!

I want to thank Laurie (LauriesLabs) for opening my eyes to Crystal Lite! I never liked the lemonaid so kinda balked at the idea, but I decided to give it another chance. I bought a box of the Orange flavor singles on Friday, only 5 calories per packet (compared to the 35 in the Kool-Aid fruit punch packets) and it tastes SOOOOOOO good, just like Tang, I love it and I'm hooked. I even brought some to work with me today. That's why I love this board, not only because it's like a diary that keeps me accountable, but because I am learning new things!

Hope we have some losers today. I did not weigh myself yet.

Hi Guys, I had a bad weekend last weekend and ended up gaining just under a pound last week, and I did really well this week with the exception of Saturday where I went to a party and drank too much, those calories really add up. I am hoping being good the other 6 days of the week and working out 4 days this week really help.

I am nervous about weighing on Wednesday.

I had a bad weekend, too many calories (darn that wine!). But I didn't gain (didn't lose, either). Friday, I went home from work and pulled out my Cooking Light cookbook and made up a 2 week menu plan that will keep me at between 1200-1400 calories per day (as long as I stay away from the wine). So far, I've made a couple really good low cal, low fat dishes that the family liked. Leftovers tonight and then my first stab at cooking with tofu tomorrow night (Italian vegetable pie--looks a lot like a lasagna). Anyway, I'm hoping that this menu will be the tweak I need to get losing again.

Hi Girls~ Not a bad weekend but not a good one either. I did workout but I ate pizza(too much of it). today I did not work out but I mopped floors and cleaned house until time for work. Tomorrow morning I will workout now that the house is clean.

I went to the gym at lunch and had a turkey sandwich on wheat from the deli. Now I'm drinking my new favorite... Crystal Lite "orange" :). Tomorrow I'll weigh in. I'm crossing my fingers.

I seem to be staying the same so far. I need to get myself going again. Not sure how.

Weekends are hard!

I went to an aqua size class tonight, man what a work out we got. It has been a few years since I went and I forgot how much fun it was. Add this to my new list of activities. I also did 15 minutes on my treadmill, trying really hard to makeup for the weekend. :)
