View Full Version : LBWLG - 3/12 to 3/18
Good morning everyone,
I weighed myself this morning and had a .2lb weigh loss. I think I'm reaching a plateau here so I guess I need to really start the exercise portion to get to my goal. Daylight savings time may help being that there will be daylight when I go home and maybe I can take Mio to the park and run around with him so it won't feel so much like exercise or something. I don't know why I've had such a hard time incorporating exercise now when I was so diligent with it before :confused:
How is everyone else doing?

I agree, I'm hoping the nicer weather will spark something in me to get moving.....bathing suit weather is right around the corner!!!!!
alinnell 03-12-2007, 09:33 AM January and most of February saw me at a plateau. Thankfully that is over and I've lost about 3 pounds in March. Only 7 more to goal (with a total loss of 40 pounds gone when I reach goal).
This week, more salads (thank goodness for warm weather!!) and less wine.
Tricia's petz 03-12-2007, 11:58 AM Well I haven't gained any back anyway!!! I was bad this weekend- ate wayyyy too much.. ah well.
lol My friends mom and my mom were talking- my mom told me that my friend was worried about me losing so much weight.. said that they were worried I'd lose too much like my sister (who was anorexic). LMAO I was like SWEET!! I am glad you noticed. (I haven't lost that much- only about 8-9lbs and they are worried about nothing as I still eat a lot!)
Bluenose Lab 03-13-2007, 04:56 AM I was sooo bad this weekend. One of my friends and I took our dogs to my cottage for the weekend. We adopted the see-food diet and added in a few drinks. Oh well it has been ages since I did anything like that so now with a new week back on track.
Ravensmom 03-13-2007, 06:54 AM Good Morning Girls~ How is everyone doing? I am getting back on track. I worked out first thing this morning and I plan on taking Raven out jogging this afternoon(after work). I really want to lose 7lbs. I also love to eat. Bad habit. Work has been crazy busy the last couple weeks but has calmed done for now. Now i have time to work out again in the mornings.

I think once I start walking again (now that the weather is decent), I will do better.

Happy to say I'm down to 140. That is a number I usually only see on Fridays. Then the wicked weekends turn the 140 into 143 and it takes all week to see 140 again. Not this time!!!!! 139.5 on Sunday, 141 on Monday and now 140. BUT, lunch is leftover homemade lasagna which is totally calorie laden (can you tell from the name of the recipe~Absolutely Wicked Three Cheese, Sausage and Spinach Lasagna). And tomorrow, DD has a performance at school so we'll be going out for Mexican (and margaritas) before the performance. And Friday, DH is taking me out for dinner for my birthday. Aargh. I've got to make good food choices when at the restaurants if I want to see my goal of 133 any time soon!
surfbear 03-13-2007, 11:41 AM Well, I went to the grocery store and stocked up on salad fixings, and bought some grapes and apples and got everything all washed up and easy to access in the fridge!!! (that's the biggest thing for me if I don't do it then, it will just sit there til I throw it out) :rolleyes:
Hopefully I'll be able to turn the tide some and see some positive results!!!
Kona's Mommy 03-13-2007, 06:44 PM Hi everyone! I'm still in Florida but I wanted to pop in. I'm doing better then I thought I would considering I'm on vacation. My mom makes lost of salad and has tons of fruit so it isn't too hard. I've been eating more but not TONS more. And I've limited myself to one drink a night (I don't drink at home at all, but my parents both drink with dinner and it is a habit to drink with them) And I worked out today on my Dad's eliptical! Go Me! lol!
I'm sitting around in a bathing suit and not feeling near as huge as I did at Christmas time so that is good too.
Glad you all seem to be having good weeks! Goodluck to everyone with WI this week and I'll pop in again when I can :)
labs~rule 03-14-2007, 09:51 PM Well I had my weigh in tonight and I stayed the same. I know that is good and better then gaining. But I think that I am going to have to reevaluate things that I am doing and try and mix things up a little bit.

I'm doing that now too.....I haven't weighed in yet this morning, but I am back on track this week. I bought a lot of fruit and realized that my snacks are low in points, but I was having too many of them, and not journaling them!
I was dying for a snack yesterday afternoon.......and remembered I'd bought apples (for that reason) so I had a apple, it was yummy and filling and I made it til dinner without any other snacks!! :clap:
Jen, you're right, staying the same is good (better than gaining), but we both want to get back to losing, so let me know if I can help in anyway!!!! :) :)

I have to say, I have done weight watchers numerous times - but I always did it online. I lost about 25 pounds, but once I hit a plateau I quit and slowly gained back all but 5 pounds. I REALLY need to be held accountable so I decided to to meetings. Just knowing that i have to weigh in on Thursday morning is enough (for now at least) to keep me on plan. This week I introduced excercise and that helped a lot!

Way to go Beth! Seems like the meetings are working better for you. Keep it up that is awesome weight loss!

alinnell 03-16-2007, 12:52 PM I'm down to 139 today. That's a solid 1 pound loss. When I'm so close to goal (133) I'm lucky to lose a pound a week.
