Hello everyone,

Hope you all had a great weekend. Sorry for posting this late instead of yesterday. Where are all the losers from last week? No one really posted results in last weeks thread :confused:

Well, I weighed in on Monday and had a total of 4.4lbs lost. I was so proud of myself - I think it was the eating right and excerise portion. I've started to jog in the mornings a little over 1/2 a mile as my aerobic stuff and have started weight training to build up some muscle. Even through the weekend I've continued so I hope to have another good loss though I don't have high expectations since I'm close to my goal and last time it was difficult to break the 130 barrier!

I hope we have more losers this week!

Well I had gained some weight back, but now I'm back down again I think. I've started biking, and it gives my legs quite a workout- unhill. I've also started weight lifting, and wow I'm already seeing results!

Awesome - I really like this weather as you can go out and do so much more activity which is what we need to burn some calories. What kind of weight lifting are you doing?

Congrats!! 4.4lbs, that's great!!!

I had a gain because of vacation, but I'm back on track this week!! I've got to get now about 25 lbs off!!! I'm determined to do it!!

Maritza- Just with dumbells. I wish I had a bench, but I can't afford that right now!!!!!

With the dumbbells (sp?) are you just doing work with your arms or are you doing squats, crunches, etc. with the weight? Just curious.

Thank you Ronda - I had been off the band wagon a long time and am just as determined to get the rest of the weight off and hoping summer will be on my side. Hope to see your negative numbers soon!

So far I'm just lifting with my arms, but eventually I'll do all the rest... I'm quite out of shape so I want to start easy!

Good morning losers!!! I haven't posted in a while. I'm basically the same as when I joined this board. I know that if I'd really get working on it, I'd get rid of the last 7 pounds!! I guess for now I'll just relish the fact that I've maintained a 30 pound loss for almost a year now. I'm still wrangling the idea of joining a gym. Perhaps DD will "allow" me to go with her a few times before I make the big jump. We'll see.

Way to go to all of you who have lost!

Congrats! :) i'm down 6lbs since last week. i think i'm going to reach my goal for this month, to be 140 lbs. this morning i weighed 142lbs.

Hey you guys! Can I join you? I'm doing WW but not going to meetings. Just counting points. I was quite naughty last week and still lost .4 lbs. Not much but I was so afraid of a gain.

Of course Leslie!!!

You know there is WW online too.... that's what I'm doing, there is a lot of info on there and you can track online and by their books and stuff!! It's not that much either.

And, as I've said many times..... a loss is a loss....doesn't matter how much!!! :D :D :D

I have recently taken a new job which has some crazy hours so I haven't been able to post as much but I do occasionaly get a few minutes to read up and keep track of how wonderful everyone is doing on reaching their goals.

Good morning everyone!

I think I have solved my "problem." I've been very un-motivated for the past few months, but have managed to maintain a 30 pound loss during that time. I'm still trying to lose another 7-10 pounds but it just isn't going anywhere! But the other day I realized I have a problem. I've been eating when I wasn't hungry--just because it was time to eat! I've decided that even if it is time to eat, if I'm not hungry, I'm not going to eat. I'll pack an extra snack for later if I'm going to work, so that when I get hungry I'll have something healthy to eat. The biggest obstacle in overcoming this problem is dinner. I always fix a good, healthy dinner for my family and I love food so much so that not eating after I've done all that work won't be much fun. Perhaps on those occasions I'll still eat, but only a small portion.

So I weighed myself this morning and I reached my goal for the month of May. My goal was to be 140 lbs and that's how much I weighed in this morning..well 140.4 lbs...lol :) Still need to lose another 15-20 pounds. June is a whole new month ladies! We can do it! Good luck!

This week was my third week weighing in at WW. I weighed in on Saturday morning and have gone down another 3.6 pounds for a total of -8.5 pounds. It's such a motivation for the coming week. :)
