Morning everyone!!! I had my weigh in last night and I lost 4lbs. I could not believe it. Today marks a year since I joined WW and I am still working at it everyday. Hope everyone is having a good week.
Did you know that those after dinner munchies may be a result of a lack of substantial calories in your diet? Many people seem prone to nighttime nibbling when they cut back too much on their evening meal or eat too little throughout the day.

Congrats Jen! 4 lbs is great, you must be very happy. You have real dedication to stick with it for a solid year.
Good quote too, thanks for sharing it - I have been trying to find a few tricks to not snacking in the evening. I have been keeping oranges on heand so that there is something good to nibble on if neccessary. (My dentist also fitted me with a bite plane for my TMJ so I have been sticking it in earlier thus eliminating the ability to snack - LOL whatever works right?)
Great job Jen! Keep up the good work, any other losers out there?

Nice job Jen! You ARE a big loser :D
Can we talk about healthy snacks? I can't bring myself to eat another freaking carrot (I am on weight watchers). I sit at a desk all day and I am a snacker. I need healthy alternatives :D
Beth, the snacks I like and eat on South Beach are - celery sticks with sour cream or peanut butter, apples, sugar free jello or pudding, the 100 calorie south beach snacks (they are yummy!), nuts, cheese sticks (lo fat). There are 100 calorie snack packs, fruits, cereal bars, etc. None of that appetizes you?

That is GREAT Jen!!! Congrats!!!! :D :D
For snacks.... I like pretzels, the snyders mini twists are 20 for 2 points. Also, I like sugar free jello 0 points for one. Or, carmel corn rice cake mini's 1 point for 7 of them. Or 94% fat free snack size bag of popcorn -2 points...... ummm, guess I like to snack too! ;)

Congrats to everyone on their weight loss!!! I'm down a half pound. It doesn't sound like much, but I'm happy it's going that way instead of up!
Allison, congrats on your loss as well. Even if we don't have major weight loss like some that manage to lose 3 or more pounds - at least we are losing. Slow and steady wins the race :)

Hi Girls~Congrats to the losers!
I didn't get on the scale this week. I did however workout 3 times so far this week. I am proud of myself for that.

You said it. I'm really in no hurry to lose the last 10 pounds. I lost 30 last year. I figure that I ought to be close to my goal sometime this spring.
