I just wanted to say how excited I am to have found this part of the forum. Since I found it yesterday, it was the first day that I've been really good about not snacking.

I always start the day saying I'm not going to have this or that but yesterday, everytime I wanted to snack, I felt like I had someone to be accountable to.

So, I'm down 1lb. today!!! It's not much, but it's better than being up 1 lb.:brow:

Thanks everyone!

Congrats, I find this place very helpful and I feel like I'm accountable for what I'm doing. I guess like a weight watchers meeting :D The good thing is you have the exercise part done - some of us are still working on both :o:

Good morning girls~
It is cold here again today. Brrrrr, No walkies with Raven. She needs to lose weight too!
I did my workout this morning after I got the kids on the bus. If I don't work out as soon as the kids leave then I don't do it at all. I am glad I have the mornings to do so. I don't start work until 11(most days) and its only a 2 hour job(most days) so I am back before the kids get here.

Hi everyone!
I am down 2lbs this week.:D
Lake Lover congrats on the 1lb weight loss, slow and steady is the way to ensure lasting weight loss.
I tried the crystal light singles that some people on here were talking about. I love the lemon lime. I added it to 1L of water and it was great so thatnks for the tip. I sometimes get tired of drinking water so this is a nice flavour tip that costs alot less than the flavoured waters you can buy.
Hope everyone is having a great day

Hello!

Good luck to all that are on this quest!

I did a half mile today at lunch. Will go back for more after work. I am very lucky to have a work out room at work. So, since I get an hour lunch, why do a little walking.

Good for you for a 1lb loss. :tup2:

We are told at WW that snacking is a good thing. Three healthy meals and 2-3 small healthy snacks a day is ok.

Believe it or not, eating 3 meals with snacks in between is the best way to maintain both energy levels and a healthy weight. You are more likely to choose foods that are not as healthy when you skip meals and are over-hungry.

I'm having a rotten day! We had to admit Kirby to the vet hospital this morning. He was dry heaving all night and did not wake us up for his morning meal, go poop, nor did he act like he wanted anything to eat, but he was running around like his sweet self, chasing the cat. From the X-rays, it looks like there is something square and flat laying in his intestines. They could not get him to vomit it up and doubt it will pass through his colon. I've been waiting for another update, they were going to do another set of X-rays this afternoon. So, it's either surgery or pull it out by endoscopy (which they don't have at their hospital). I was too depressed to do my usual Thursday Pilates workout, but also too depressed to eat anything. :'(

I am so sorry that you are having such a rough day. I also now how easy it is to turn food when you have a bad day. I do find that exercise can help relieve stress, go for a nice walk. Do anything to keep busy. It might help you keep your mind off things as well as keep you from eating. I hope that everything is ok with Kirby.
