I just wanted to check in, I'm going to be out of my home office for the day so I won't be able to log in until sometime later!!
I just wanted to share a quick thought.....I'm sure you've all heard it but it rang true for me yesterday as I went shopping and trying on clothes....
Nothing tastes as good as skinny feels!!! :D :D :D
Come on.......lets keep going, we can do this!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hope everyone has a good day! Just if nothing else, do one thing different today that is a positive step in losing weight!!!
So very true - skinny does feel good. Though I'm not almost half way to my goal I can see the difference in my clothes and feel much better. How is everyone else doing this morning?

I did weigh myself this morning and I'm down .5 pound, so that makes it 4.5 pounds since the New Year started.
Another snow storm hit, so I'm waiting for the roads to thaw some and the freeways to clear. This means I'm late for work and may have to miss the gym.
Here's another quote I love and heard a couple of months ago (from Ashley Judd on a television interview with Matt Lauer)...

evert9 01-16-2007, 11:39 AM Hi Ladies!! Doing well here. Going to hit the gym for the first time in a LONG time tonight. Can't wait. Also just bought a pedometer - I need to get moving! Only 1704 steps today...long way to 10,000 :(.
Ravensmom 01-16-2007, 01:29 PM Hi Girls, thank you for the words of wisdom. I did work out yesterday, not today yet. I came home from with with a headache and decided 2 tylanol and a cup of tea was needed. Had a rough start this morning with no power and needing to get myself and two kids ready for school. (of course the power went out while I was in the shower) Lucky for me a fellow co-worker a couple miles from me had power so I got ready at her house. Didn't have time for breakfast and worked until 1:30 so lunch was late for me. That's were the headache came in.

Breezeline 01-16-2007, 02:54 PM I have not been feeling too well the past few day and I had a 12 hour work day yesterday, so I was not able to fit in a work out.
I have an appointment at the gym on Thursday night to learn how to use all the new equipment, then I play 5 games of volleyball.
I wish I could play 5 times per week!!!

I worked out extra hard yesterday and I am really sore today, it's been a while since I have been this sore. Progress I guess.
I am going out of town for the next 5 days, will be eating out alot, makes me nervous, but I will do the best I can.

That is very good, I hope I can make that good of choices while I am away. It's a business meeting and they are feeding us, so I am at their mercy.
labs~rule 01-16-2007, 05:30 PM Sounds like everyone is heading in the right direction. I went skating today with dh, my sister and two kids. We were like the only ones on the ice and had a blast. We were playing tag with the kids it was great and before I knew it we had been there for over a hour. Time flies when you are having fun. I felt like I got a great workout which is good because I have to weigh in tomorrow night.

evert9 01-16-2007, 05:45 PM Now I'm really bummed. Only 8300 steps today and I don't have much waking time left :(. Maybe my strides are off on the pedometer as I did 30 mins on the treadmill at 4.3 MPH which should have made up for the rest of my 10,000.

I would think it would!! I'd double check your stride too!
I can't ever seem to find a podemeter I like, they always fall off my pants, or are too big or something. What kind do you have?
