Are you getting your dog from Kathy- Rockycreek Labradors? I was just there this weekend too. We figured we'd at least try this brand or if we wanted to change it we can mix it with what we want to use so we don't upset the digestive system. We are also getting some of the supplements.

I love their infomercial on Pet Food.. Yet to run into anyone who uses it..

It is special ordered is it not ? I've never seen it sold in my area .

it's special order as far as I know, petco and petsmart do not carry it. Maybe some vets or speciality shops.

I looked up your link on this food and the guaranteed analysis looks pretty decent for a puppy. The ingredients, IMHO, seem somewhat mediocre. There is only 1 meat source in the first seven ingredients; meaning much of the protein is probably heavily grain-based. There are differing opinions on beet pulp as an ingredient, but I wouldn't be a big fan on having it that high up in the ingredient list.

All in all, it seems like a decent enough food to keep your new puppy on when you first bring it home. If you want try a different brand you could take your time researching a little bit and start mixing some of the new in once your puppy has adjusted being in a new home. Some people recommend keeping a new puppy on its original food for a couple of months - before I heard that I always started switching my puppies to a different food after a week and never had any ill effects. But each dog is different.

Congratulations on becoming new puppy parents. We'll look forward to seeing some photos.

That was the most comprehensive breakdown of the food that I've seen, very informative.
