im not sure if it is a good book for those of us who are pregnant, esp those of us who just found out! I had nitemares the one nite when i read the chapter about her being preg, then losing it and having to have the fetus removed! ARGH! That just made me sick! I felt so awful for them, and it made me wonder if things were OK with me (as i havent been to Doctor yet, couldnt get in til the 10th...). There should be a warnign!
I love the book tho, i am just learnig to take those parts (i just finished the bed rest chapter! Oh My!) with a grain of salt and try not to let it get to me!

I know where you are coming from...having lost my son when he was two weeks in 1995 and had two m/c in 2005 it was very hard to read....I guess it shows how many of us do go through sad times, but how this Lab breed effects us...taking things with a grain of salt is a good way to look at it..believe me, I have a hard time coming here somedays as all the "I'm pregnant" posts get to me since we've been really trying. Life's ups and downs, huh!

I cried my eyes out as that is exactly what happened to us. :( It was hard for me to read also.
Don't worry be happy ... :) As my baby girl used to say to me when I was sad (she was 3 when this happened to us).
