My fault on the date in the transport. I originally had it set up for the 2nd and forgot to change to the 9th. Yea, I'm lacking oxygen due to the placement of my head up my butt.

Penny,

I think Michelle will take the first leg and Susan will take the last. Thanks so much for your help, too.

If for some reason Susan is unable to do it that day, let me know and I can certainly do it for you.

I missed reading the whole OTHER post about this transfer. Sorry, I see that Susan has it under control.

Susan, if your SO can't make the journey with you, I would be glad to keep you company. I have obedience class at 11:00 that day, but should be available any time after noon.

What a lucky girl Libby is!!! I bet Sam is going to be SOOOOO happy to have another labby to play with when she heals up.

I received a PM on PF for an offer on Leg 1..told her to e-mail Penny!

I did send Penny an email saying I would take any legs needed to get Libby here. I talked with Michelle on Tuesday night and she does plan to take the first leg and will contact Penny. On the last leg, Penny thought we could wait and see if someone wanted to take that leg; if someone lives in Okla and would like to do this, then that would be great. Otherwise, I plan to take that leg and any other needed.

Mickie, I actually planned on contacting you. I don't know yet if the SO plans to go with me. Now that might be because he doesn't know. :floor He knows of Libby in general, but not any other details. Of course he didn't know about Sam either. I said nothing when SO got home. I was cleaning something out front when he walked back outside and asked me if I knew Abbey had lost a lot of years and changed genders! You have to love a guy who is so calm about new critters in the house! Indeed when he came back into town after the transport I ended up not doing, the first thing he did was to check the yard to see if there was a newf back there! Let me see what our plans are Mickie; if SO doesn't go, I would LOVE for you to join me. When I have to leave Wichita, however, will depend on how many legs I take. Just think our first transport!

I did accept Stepanie's offer to do the last leg BUT it is dependent on if the the other legs get filled. I also got an offer for the first leg but I emailed him back saying it was already taken. Now I just need people to fill in the middle legs and we will have it made.

I will be in Kansas City this weekend (leaving tomorrow and will be back either Sunday or Monday) but I made sure when the race team made hotel reservations, that they picked one with wireless internet access. So I will be able to check my emails and update the transport as needed. Please feel free to crosspost where ever you think may get us a some drivers.

Susan, that is so funny about your SO. Mine is gone for weeks at a time and usually he never knows I have any here because I make sure they are adopted before he gets back. (plus Iowa has goofy foster laws so mine are always done on the sly anyways.) I just figure what he doesn't know, can't make him mad!
