Trying to find a baby (0-8 months) baby male lab (preferably chocolate). I have looked in petfinder for a while, but haven't found any pure breds, and I don't want to give money to a puppy mill. Can anyone give me a lead?

Don't know about purebreds, since you'd probably have to get in touch with breeders and get on a waiting list (that's the way good ones do it)...

There are LOTS of tiny lab mix puppies in shelters and rescues... They call them mix because you can't be sure with strays or found pups, but there are purebreds out there, too. I know there are down here in NC, anyway.
