I am a volunteer for Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue Network. We are a breed specific rescue. Today I was contacted by a woman who has recently moved to a mobile home park, the park will not allow her to keep her 8 year old labrador retriever mix. Obviously, an extremely emotional decision for her, she does not want to leave her beloved companion at an animal shelter. I have contacted Adopt a Pet in the Flint area, however, if they are unable to help, I am hoping I can find a rescue.

I'd foster the dog in myself, however, just underwent surgery and have a lengthy recovery ahead, I simply can't take in another dog at this time.

Any help would be appreciated.

Also, there is an Adopt-A-Pet in Fenton and they are just awesome!
