I am looking for a loving and caring home for my one year old yellow lab named Dakota. He is fixed and is up to date on all of his shots. If yu are willing to walk him everyday, take him to the vet when needed, take him for rides in the car to petco and the dog park, and have or have had experience with dogs at this age then you maybe the right owner for Dakota. If you already have a dog that would be a plus but if not that is ok. If interested you can contact Sara at dolphin19757@hotmail.com.

Please contact rescues or humane societys in your area for help on this matter.

I believe this site does not encourage or even allow the sale of animals (even if the cost is minimal to non-existant).

I'm sorry to hear you have to sell your dog.

Are you trying to just find a good home or is the dog for sale? If it's for sale, we do not do that here. What is the reason you are trying to find a home for your dog?

Barb,
I want you to know that I am not selling my yellow lab for any amount of money. I just want to find him a loving and caring new home for him. I am moving and I can not take him with me. Finding him a new home has not been easy for me. Its the hardest thing for me to do. How I found your site is I was looking for a yellow lab rescue league in my area and that is when I found this web site. I also read a message on the board about a women who was looking for a yellow lab to adopt so her other lab could have a friend. That is what gave me the idea to post my message. I am sorry if I have caused any problems. Sara

Please contact the Animal Rescue League of Boston. I understand they have a waiting list for labs and are wonderful to work with. Please keep us updated.

Good suggestion, Linda. Best wishes to you Sara75 -- will keep my fingers crossed that you find a very good home for your dog! Sometimes life hands us problems that are not easy to deal with -- I totally understand that.

Sara, I'm sorry to hear that you have to give up Dakota. I noticed that you're from Massachusetts, have you heard of NEARR? They rescue labs throughout New England.

Please contact a Lab Rescue group near you. Most rescues go right into foster homes - please don't let your dog wind up in a pound.
