This is Layla. What a cutie. We have a wonderful woman that can foster puppies, so if you are intersested in getting a puppy. This woman can foster for you until the baby is old enough to be spayed/neutered. When they are old enough, they will then be sent to you (we can set up a volunteer transport.)

Lucky is EXTREMELY URGENT!
Here's Lucky! Unfortunately, it's not Lucky's lucky day. She was surrendered by her owner! She's a shiny black lab pup (11 months old) with a long tail. She's up to date on her shots and is ready for a new home. Her owner did state that she likes dogs and plays well with kids, she likes car-riding and walks on a leash, needs lots of exercise, is friendly and submissive. She is a chewer as all puppies are so she'll need lots of chew toys to occupy her urges. What a treasure she is to be thrown away! Please give her a chance for a life!

This little girl is listed as a lab mix but she looks all lab to me. It's really heartbreaking to think that such a young girl will either have to spend holidays in this cold shelter - or worse yet lose her life before she even gets to live because it is the holidays!

Not sure of the breed - he's listed as a shep, but I'm thinking he has some spaniel, or flat coat in there, too. He has nice fur!

Liana...many of these dogs are listed as strays with collars...what is being done to help locate the owners of these dogs? It mentions the exact location (street names) where they were picked up...This is just so sad...

They almost all have collars when they are picked up. We even have dogs come in with name tags and contact info. They call the numbers, leave messages, call the vets, but the owners just never come back :(

It would take a long time to get the puppy the first one from Az to Mi would't it.. Cause I would be intersted in fostering.. And I could Ask Dani about running the cutie pie through her rescue

Not really. I have driven to Michigan..We have set up a volunteer transport to North Dakota, I am sure we could do it to Michigan! None of the dogs are UTD, but they are REQUIRED to be vetted before leaving, so they will be before they leave. Our shelter does not let us sending puppies unspayed/neutered so if she is too young, he will have to foster with a woman I know that can do puppies, until she is old enough. Let me know!
