They have expanded their recall.

This is crazy. It won't stop. Because of this continuous expansion of the recall, I personally would not trust any foods manufactured by Menu, dry or wet, or any foods manufactured by a company importing "filler" type ingredients from overseas.

And some people said that the food I feed Winston wasn't a good Brand I am so glad that I chose Bil-Jac dry food you know why they don;t use any glutens what so ever in their products. No filler's or anything It works best for Winston and I have never had a problem I can walk into Petsmart amongst all the almost empty food shleves and there's Bil-Jac stocked and no recall. I am appauled that this is still even going on and now more are added to the list again. You never know what to trust feeding your animal. I feel bad for all the animals that have lost their lives to this.

I feel the exact same way about my Diamond Naturals, it's fairly good food and always right there at the feed store. Bear is happy to be fed on time, silly how that works huh, hehe.

Cats did get switched though, but only because their food didn't agree with them, old and new food both are ok thank god!

My babies are on Natural Life Lamaderm which I found out today is on the recall list - the canned version. I have been using the canned and dry food. What do I do now? I'm so upset that I may have been poisoning my babies.

Sticking with Canidae here!

You should call the customer service number on the label and ask about getting a refund. Make a note of the foods you have (Lot numbers, dates, etc.) in case (fingers crossed you won't!) there's a problem so you can bring them to your veterinarian.

Thanks! My mind just went kinda blank when my friend told me about the new recall list. I am getting in touch with the vet today. Sammi has not been herself lately, so it would be better to have her checked out.

Honestly, I wouldn't wait for the recall list to expand again. Think of where it's gone since its first release back in late March. Also, look at the claims of some companies after the original recall vs. those company's recalls that followed. Some companies "guaranteed" they weren't part of the original recall, then recalled shortly thereafter. Doesn't leave me with a whole lot of trust in the claims of the companies.

We vary our meals between raw and canidae. I feel ok with canidae, but I am trying to get over to raw as much as possible.

It is a Friday, you know. That means most of the companies are probably waiting until this afternoon to announce the rest of their weekly recalls....

We took Midnight and Calley in for full blood panels with their yearly exam because we had been feeding Natural Balance. It doesn't hurt just to make sure everything is ok. They are both fine. I say do the bloodwork.
