Well, it's been over 3 weeks since Cody got sick from the NB Venison and Brown Rice. Up until yesterday he was receiving 500mL of saline subcu. everyday. He acts perfectly normal now, but his kidneys are still not back to normal. He may have to go on a special diet, but it appears that other than that he will be okay.
The FDA results are back- melamine was found in his urine (3 days after being off the food) and the food sample.
NB has contacted my friend and she has filled out paperwork, but there's no word yet on what's going to be done about the $3200 vet bills.

Wow :( I am happy that he is getting better, but sad that this has happened!

I'm glad that he is doing better, and sorry that your friend is still haveing to go through all this. I really hope that the NB steps up and takes care of the bill.
