On Sun, 4/25 at the Indianapolis Speedway, the Humane Society of Indianapolis is holding the first (EVER for the Speedway) pet walk. Activities include Pet Massage, Pet Masterpieces, Caricatures of you and your pet, and the Strutters Competition. Pets enter free with minimum walk donation. I would love to meet all of you as I'll be there with Adopt A Lab of Indiana, so come and see us if you can. Should be fun for people and dogs alike. There will also be a K9 Search, and a PAWS & Rescue Demo. I will have my 9 wks. foster puppy there, too. She doesn't even have a name yet, I call her Puppy.

Everything was blowing around, and of course we all were outside. The attendance was average considering the weather. Picked up (I think) a few more volunteers, took a few applications. But, we had fun and look forward to it again next year. We were directly across from the Humane Society of Indianapolis, and a lot of their volunteers came over and offerred to help as volunteers and emergencies, etc. They of course had some wonderful dogs. Our prez brought her foster black lab, Teddy and I brought my foster pup. Thought we had both adopted out, but both fell through:( I saw lots of labs and only 1 or 2 as tall, and big as my 2. The lap around the Speedway is 2.5 miles, and no I didn't walk it, need to have, should have, but didn't. :D Thanks for asking.
