I'm very sad today, we found out a good friend of mine had a miscarriage early this week. This is the second baby she has lost--she was pregnant at the same time I was with Zach. The first loss was an awful experience and very complicated as she was already 5 months at that point. She was only 7 weeks or so along this time, but she and her DH have had so much pain, this is a lot for them to handle. I know you don't know them, but please keep them in your thoughts and prayers for me as they go through this :(

is a complete emotional wreck, your friends

Miscarriages are a difficult thing to deal with. Hope your friend finds peace. I had a friend earlier this year lose a baby at 20 weeks. It is very sad.

Oh Jenn I am so sorry for your friend and her husband. I truly know how heartbreaking it is to try and try and not have "one stick" and watch those around you enjoy motherhood and being pregnant. No matter how or when the loss (ectopic, m/c, still birth, etc) a loss is a loss. I will keep them in my prayers.

BTW, are they seeing a perinatologist? How old is she? I suggest mentioning to her, when the time is right, to see if she can get referred to a peri and they can talk about other options or see if there are any causes.
