Here is the story of how my DH and I ended up with a cat. First off, when we got married we said that we would never have a cat because we weren't huge cat fans. Then we moved into an apartment complex with a serious stray cat problem, and it just so happened that our downstairs neighbor was feeding all of them!! Well after two of the cats had litters of kittens and then a couple of those kittens had kittens (when they were only 6 months old) a new cat showed up looking very pregnant and kept being chased away from the food. Most of the cats were VERY feral and would chase the dogs, but this new one was very nice.
So one day I brought her inside, and bathed her....yeah I did and it was awful! When my DH came home he said it was fine to keep her until she had her kittens and then we would find them all homes. Turns out she wasn't pregnant, but she escaped a month later and got knocked up. So after she had her kittens we had all 4 of them and her spayed, found homes for the kittens, and kept her! She turned out to be the most wonderful cat ever. She loves the dogs, doesn't ruin things, is quiet most of the time, and is just the perfect cat! Here are a couple pictures of "Turtle"

The four little babies! They are all gorgeous almost 1 year old cats now!
