Gavin I am guessing may be a Greyhound/Lab mix. His head is a bit narrower and snout a bit longer than a Lab, his ears fold sideways and he has beady-eyes like a Greyhound...and runs like the wind at that!

(btw...this boy is 7 months old and was dumped for 'aggression' :rolleyes: . Funny how people mistake PUPPY behaviour as aggression...there isn't an aggressive bone in this guy's little body and he'd have been put down because some ignorant owner should never have had a puppy in the first place.

Bonnie and Clyde are my other 2 foster Labs...these two stunning black babies were picked up as strays and never reclaimed by an owner. :( They are both heartworm positive and would have been put down by the shelter because of this...since they can't adopt out hw+ dogs. I am guessing them to be brother and sister probably a year and a 1/2 to 2 years of age.

Typical Labs-I can't keep water in their bowls because they keep dumping it out to play in it...BUT they aren't supposed to be playing in it because they just got spayed/neutered on Sunday! Sheesh! :)

What a bunch of beautiful dogs, Tammy! Are all these at your house right now? Is Jenny still there, too??? Besides your three??? :eek: Or are they at other foster home? Those black babies are just gorgeous!!!

I wasn't SUPPOSED to bring anyone back to my house other than Gavin (who was at a different shelter than Bonnie and Clyde) since I do still have Jenny.

I went to another shelter on Saturday-we had spots to pull 2-maybe 3 from this shelter. I saw Bonnie and Clyde and asked the shelter to hold them for a week since I couldn't very well take 1 and not the other. They would have held them for us BUT they said if either dog came down w/ kennel cough or anything during the week that they could not release them and would have to put them down...so I couldn't very well take the chance of leaving them there. :)

The problem that I have going with the rescue on dog evals or surrenders is that I want to take all of them home. lol They just win your heart right away!

I began fostering a few months ago, the hardest thing I've ever done, but will do again once I get my new pup adjusted.

Gavin should find a good home I'm sure, but ooooohhhhhh I want him....

Gavin and Clyde have both been adopted in the last few weeks!! YAY!

Jenny is finishing her heartworm treatment and already has a new family in waiting :)
