As I see the Chicago lab fest thread it made me think, if anyone has ever tried to organize one like that but for everyone? I know a few people are going and stuff but wouldn't it be cool to try to get everyone on the board together to meet like an annual national lab fest or even maybe regional ones? I know it might not be possible but just a thought - like if you ever had a meeting for work or a seminar that you flew in or drove to attend. Just picking out a day and "central" place and meet for like a weekend or something? Just wondering about your thoughts on this.

We do LabFest the last weekend in September every year. We have done it for two years in a row now and have it on the calendar for next year as well. I live in central FL and organize it The event is held in Patrick SC. We have all kinds of games for the dogs We have a few national sponsors We do demonstrations and have lots of fun time for the dogs. It's a two day event with Dinners and a BYOB party on Saturday night.
Last year 2007 we had people from Wisconsin, New York, Kentucky, Virginia, Florida, North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee and a lady and her dog come down from Canada (her 2nd year). And I know I'm leaving a state or two out.
We doubled in size from 2006 and we hope to double in size again this year.

Very cool, I will look out for it this year. Thanks.
