So, my friend just called to say that her dog is pretty sick.
Story: He eats NB venison and brown rice. She bought a bag on Wednesday, he was sick by Thursday. She stopped feeding the food, gave him rice and boiled chicken. On Sunday she gave the food again (there was no info on the food, she thought maybe his bully stick made him sick)- he got sick again. Today she took him to the vet. They are having him stay for 2 days at the vet on IV b/c he has kidney problems. She said she only fed a total of 4 cups!!! They're running other tests to see if it is indeed related to the food.

I work at petco and saturday when i got to work they had pulled all NB venison formulas from the shelves.(cat formulas included).manager said there was no recall,but the company was just being proactive and pulling the products temporarily while they run tests because some dogs had gotten sick.
