I stuff the boys Kongs and natural bones with peanut butter sometimes I layer banana in between. I tried pumpkin, believe it or not they don't like it
What else can I put in them? They have been eating A LOT of peanut butter. I am concerned about the fat content.
Any ideas?

Cream cheese or cheezwhiz. If you google the kong site they have kong stuffing recipes.

i stuff with straight bannana, no peanut butter. or applesauce, homer loves that one. sometimes i stuff it with lettuce (i dont know if everyone's dog would go for this, but my homie really lives up to his name... he will eat anything) have also stuffed with canned dogfood. yesterday i filled it with chopped pears.

i have a related question... i hear people talking about using chicken broth!!!! how do you keep it from pouring out while it is freezing!?! i tried plugging the hole with peanut butter and i ended up with this big chicken broth puddle stuck to the freezer stuck to the kong. i tried heavy duty plumbers tape, same thing. plastic wrap and a rubber band, same thing. so whats the secret?

Upside down in a container. :brow:

yeah, but it has a hole at both ends! i put it upside down but everything pours out of the small hole in the top no matter what i plug it with.

:emb: forgot there is the "other" hole, we have never really stuffed the kongs as our guys just chew on them or bones. What if you use the peanut butter or cream cheese for the small hole does it still leak out past it? They are advertising a new "Glad wrap" that is supposed to seal even better and can even make a bag of itself over food, that might hold better.

I haven't heard of pouring chicken broth into kongs, I'm sure most dogs would like it, but what a mess when it melts.

You could also spoil them 2 times a week and put in a cut up boiled egg.
