i give the poochies a kong with frozen meat and fruit and veggies everyday as a snack and to give them something to do during a pretty stressful part of the day. i need it to keep them busy for as long as possible, so, my question is, what can i use as a filler in it to make it hard for them to get out but still be healthy? they aren't fond of frozen yogurt and frozen peanut butter is too easy. any ideas

ive been putting frozen bannana and i add some water before i freeze it. the extra water turns into a big icecube, and homer cant really get at it until it melts. this still dosent last him long (hour and a half or so)

Adding some water is a good idea... We mix bannana, peanut butter and oatmeal togethar and then freeze it. I think that the oatmeal helps to hold it all togethar a little longer but the water would help it freeze better too. We get about 1 1/2 hours out of that. I'm not sure you'll get much longer out of anything else... Short attention spans and all. If you are looking to occupy time and still be healthy about it, what about natural bones?

i've thought about the water and might try it. that bannana, beanut butter and oatmeal mix sounds like a good idea, i'll have to try that. i did layers of peanut butter, chicken and apple today and froze it and they are loving it and going on 50 min now which is the longest i've ever gotten. plus, everytime they get to the next layer they go nuts with excitement almost :D

thanks for the ideas :D
