Jasmine is a gorgeous, petite black female that we are guessing to be around 1.5 years old. She was a stray found, and brought to a high kill shelter. After weeks of no owner showing up, they were scheduling her to be PTS. A rescue group we work with in St George, UT, contacted us and asked if they pulled her, if we could take her in.

She arrived in Las Vegas today, just a sweet, bubbly puppy! She surprised me though, for as happy as she was to see me, when I asked her to "Sit" - she immediately sat down and looked up at me. :) She is right around 50lbs and is just as gorgeous as can be. She is being spayed today along with a good bath and will be going into foster care tomorrow. We can better evaluate her then. I will post more information when I have some.

That's exactly what Jason said today, Dani, when he met her.

The people who pulled her said their vet said she was 2.. my vet said she wouldn't guess any older than a year - so that's why I chose 1.5 - but after Jason met her and said the same thing, I think when I list her on our site, I'll put 1 year.. :) She is such a doll.. that bath did her some GOOD.

Update.. Jasmine is doing very well in her foster home. She didn't like the crate the first night, but slowly getting better.

She has a meeting with a family on Saturday, so fingers crossed!!

What happened to Jasmine? Was she adopted??

She was adopted!! :) To that family. She is doing very well, they love her to bits! :)

I am very happy for her. (but sad for us) You know how some dogs just grab you and she looks so much like my Hestia. Was not mean't to be for us.
