Hi all,
I don't normally even find out about all of the rescues around here until they're already adopted out (which is a good thing, I suppose!), but I just got this via e-mail and this poor guy (gal?) has now been looking for a home for over 2 months! :(

My owner passed away i am being fed at her home but am in dire need for a human companion. I am playful, energetic, and lovable.I will be a great friend.I am good with kids. I love anyone who will pet and play with me. I can also be a great gaurd dog. I have been trying to find a new owner for 2 months.

What a beautiful and SAD BOY!!

Try calling and e-mailing some rescues for him.
You can also try calling German Shepherd Rescue!

Where is this sweet boy??

He is in southern California...this was all e-mailed to me by a friend of a friend who works for Guide Dogs for the Blind as their RVT.

I'll check out the German Shepherd rescue that was posted and see if anyone there may be interested. I haven't seen nor met this boy (girl?) so I don't know anything beyond what is mentioned above from the e-mail I received. How sad to lose his owner, though! :(
