I agree. So easy in fact, I think maybe Kim should send Dani two puppers not one. Dani is most happy and most fulfilled when she feels challenged. Yep, sounds like two dogs instead of one! :)

Seriously, though, fingers crossed that either a very good owner claims him or if not, that the neutering and testing go really well. Good thoughts, hopeful thoughts on that!

I'm working on my end to see what we can do...no promises...but at least trying to locate a place for him to stay.

Okay, I got my days / animals confussed :rolleyes: He becomes available for adoption on THURSDAY - not today. He has been scanned for a chip and it came up blank. So, now we wait till Thursday for HW status. He'll be nuetered on Thursday as well :)

THURSDAY EVE UPDATE

Joe Maringo is going to take him into his rescue :bounce: :bounce: :bounce:

He was neutered today and we also found out that he is hw+ :( I always expect them to be positive, happy when they are negative. For some reason, I thought that since he is so well trained, somebody loved him and took care of him. WRONG. A simple $6 pill a month could have prevented this.

Anyway, we are going to treat him. After doing the harsh treatment on Ringo and losing him, we are going the slow route. He will get his first injection tomorrow and will come home with me. I will foster him for a month and then he'll finish up his treatment before heading to Joe's.

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers tomorrow :)

I am glad to hear that he is going to Joe, but I'm sorry to hear that he has heartworm. :( Was he a high positive? Poor guy -- sending lots of positive thoughts!

Thank you so much for all the love you have for these dogs! I'm so glad that you are going to foster him through this. I hope it helps you heal some. I know how sad you were about Ringo. (you did what you could for him, don't second guess yourself) It is so clear that you love these pups. It is so nice that you are there to help them.
